The history of NRTS CZ began in 2015. However, the professional history of their founders is much older. Their career began at Tesla Pardubice, a company known worldwide for the production of radars, especially the unforgettable passive system Tamara. Apart from Tesla Pardubice, we must not forget Let Kunovice, the manufacturer of most mechanical parts and the later Ramet Kunovice.
At the very beginning of the company's activities, there was a call for the modernization of antenna systems for P-18 and P-19 radars. The company's engineers designed and implemented a number of original solutions. More details can be found in the Modernized Units section.
The second and crucial chapter was the modernization of the precision approach landing radar. The ideological basis was created in Tesla Pardubice. We managed to modernize the entire mechanical part of the radar, install new incremental sensors and equipped the antenna unit with a new radar drive and control system, and backup power supply. The original magnetron-based transmitter was replaced by a new solid state RF system, in cooperation with NRPL Finland, and a new display, in cooperation with Nita.
In addition to the above activities, the company also focuses on primary and secondary radar systems and, of course, servicing and modernization of radar systems.
We guarantee warranty and post-warranty service, including the supply of necessary spare parts. We perform professional inspections of airports in terms of the establishment of radar and radionavigation equipment, including flight tests. We are also able to participate in projects of construction of new or reconstruction and modernization of existing airports.
Due to the fact that we have properly purchased technical know-how from the former company TESLA Pardubice, we feel like a successor to a company whose tradition began in 1919 [Telegrafia (1919) ›TESLA n.p. (1946) ›TESLA k.p. (1961) ›TESLA s.p. (1988) ›HTT-TESLA Pardubice (1992)].
