NRTS CZ offers a newly manufactured radar unit P-19NRTS including instrument unit equipped with a solid state transmitter.
The subject of the delivery is a modernized mobile antenna unit with the designation P-19AU-NRTS. It is a mobile unit used to transmit and receive radar information about air targets. The radar information captured by the antenna unit is processed in the electronic radar system, which is located in the instrument unit. The instrument unit is manufactured in cooperation with partners of NRTS CZ. The instrument unit designation is P-19IU-NRTS. The resulting data on the position of air targets are sent to superior workplaces or higher control systems.
The antenna unit and the instrument unit are located on one truck, eg URAL.
The antenna unit represents:
- Antenna system consisting of two parabolic antennas, parabolic antenna irradiators, coaxial HF cables, HF rotary coupler and slip-ring collector
- drive systems and gearboxes, power and backup power supplies and controls
- Lifting and folding of parabolic antennas is hydraulic and the motors of the hydraulic pump are powered by batteries, it is independent of external electricity or generator power.
Instrument unit:
- It is manufactured in cooperation with partners of NRTS CZ. It represents all electronic parts of the radar, including the display unit and the remote workplace. The unit is housed in a container that is installed on the platform of the truck. The unit includes a generator.
- The P-19 radar allows the system to be developed and assembled in time within 5 minutes by pressing one control button.
The P-19NRTS radar enables:
- Detection of coordinates of air targets – slant range and azimuth
- Calculation of the target height using an altimeter
- Target identification using an interrogator
- Transport of the data package to selected workplaces or superior systems
