NRTS CZ offers a newly manufactured radar unit P-18NRTS. The idea is based on the Russian radar with the original designation 1РЛ131 called P-18. All radar parts are made new. No part of the original radar is used.
The subject of the delivery is a modernized mobile antenna unit with the designation P-18AU-NRTS. It is a mobile unit used to transmit and receive radar information about air targets. The radar information captured by the antenna unit is processed in the electronic radar system, which is located in a separate instrument unit. The instrument unit is manufactured in cooperation with the NRTS CZ company's partners. The instrument unit designation is P-18IU-NRTS. The resulting data on the position of air targets are sent to superior workplaces or higher control systems.
Instrument unit
It is manufactured in cooperation with partners of NRTS CZ. It represents all electronic parts of the radar, including the display unit and the remote workplace. The unit is housed separately in a container that is installed on a second truck. The unit includes a generator. The radar transmitter is Solid state.
Antenna System
The antenna system consists of 16 directional antennas placed in two rows on top of each other. The antennas are fixed on an expandable antenna mast that is mounted on a truck. The antenna system can be, at the customer's request, supplemented with other elements, sensors and ECCM antennas.
The P-18 radar allows the system to be deployed and assembled in time within 5 minutes by pressing one control button.
Radar P-18NRTS offers:
- Detection of air targets coordinates – slant range and azimuth
- Calculation of the target height using an altimeter
- Target identification using an interrogator
- Transfer of the data package to selected workplaces or superior systems
